The GMKP series is Vishay ESTA's standard oil-impregnated self-healing capacitors with a fuse.
This document describes the GMKP series of Vishay DC capacitors. The capacitors are cylindrical, oil‑impregnated, self‑healing and include an over‑pressure tear‑off fuse for protection. They are suitable for DC applications and can also be used as AC capacitors at 50 Hz.
Technical data include rated voltage options from 1000 VDC to 3000 VDC, capacitance values from 1 µF to 400 µF, temperature limits, loss factors, self‑discharge time constants, and dimensional drawings.
