About this manual

The AFL50XXS series offers single‑ and dual‑output DC/DC converters that operate from nominal +28, +50, +120 or +270 V inputs. Output voltages are available at 3.3, 5, 8.9, 12, 15, 24 and 28 V, with power ratings from 80 W up to 120 W. Converters are hermetically packaged, feature copper‑core pins, and meet MIL‑PRF‑38534 screening grades.

The converters use Advanced Analog’s magnetic pulse‑feedback topology, a fixed 550 kHz switching clock, and provide features such as undervoltage lockout, primary/secondary inhibit, soft‑start, load‑fault protection, remote sensing, and synchronization ports for parallel operation and current‑sharing.
