About this manual

The PIC24H family is a line of high‑performance 16‑bit microcontrollers offering up to 40 MIPS processing speed, industrial temperature operation from –40 °C to +85 °C, and a rich set of peripherals such as DMA, multiple timers, ADCs, UART, SPI, CAN and more. The devices include up to 256 KB of flash program memory, up to 30 KB of SRAM (including a 2 KB dual‑ported DMA buffer), and up to 85 programmable digital I/O pins.

The manual outlines the architecture (modified Harvard, 24‑bit instruction word, 16‑bit data path), the peripheral capabilities (nine 16‑bit timers, up to two 12‑bit ADC modules, 8‑channel DMA, 118 interrupt vectors, and various communication modules), and provides product identification details such as pin count, package options, and temperature ranges for each variant.
