This document is the datasheet of ADG1608/ADG1609, which introduces the function, features, applications, electrical parameters, packages and so on of the product.
The ADG1608 (8‑channel) and ADG1609 (4‑channel differential) are monolithic CMOS analog multiplexers with 3‑bit or 2‑bit address lines and an enable input. They feature a typical on‑resistance of 4.5 Ω, flat resistance matching, rail‑to‑rail operation, and ultralow power dissipation (<8 nW). The devices support dual‑supply (+3.3 V to +8 V) and single‑supply (+3.3 V to +16 V) configurations without a separate logic‑power supply.
These multiplexers are suited for communication, medical, audio/video routing, test equipment, data acquisition, battery‑powered instruments, and relay replacement applications. Key specifications include 0.04 % THD+N, 40 MHz (ADG1608) or 71 MHz (ADG1609) bandwidth, and continuous channel currents up to 290 mA depending on package and supply.
| Typical On‑Resistance (Ron) | 4.5 Ω |
|---|---|
| Input High Voltage (Vih) | 2.0 V |
| Input Low Voltage (Vil) | 0.8 V |
| Continuous Current per Channel (ADG1608, TSSOP, 5 V) | 290 mA (25 °C) |
| Total Harmonic Distortion + Noise (THD+N) | 0.04 % |
| Supply Voltage Options | +5 V, +12 V, +3.3 V |
The typical on‑resistance is 4.5 Ω.
They support +5 V, +12 V, and +3.3 V supplies in both dual‑ and single‑supply configurations.
Up to 290 mA at 25 °C.
The total harmonic distortion plus noise is specified as 0.04 % typical.
