LD W5KM, LB W5KM, LT W5KM Golden DRAGON® ARGUS® is a LED product with high luminous efficiency and small dimensions. It is mainly used for LCD backlight and other lighting scenarios.
The OSRAM W5KM series includes three LED variants (LD, LB, LT) with peak wavelengths of 455 nm (deep blue), 470 nm (blue) and 528 nm (true green). The devices feature a thin‑GaN technology, a 160° viewing angle and high optical efficiency, making them suitable for LCD backlighting, automotive interior lighting and decorative applications.
Key electrical specifications are a forward voltage of 2.7 V (typ.) to 3.2 V (max.) at 350 mA, a maximum forward current of 400 mA, surge current capability of 2000 mA, and power consumption of 1.6 W. The LEDs operate from –40 °C to +85 °C and are RoHS compliant. This manual is written in German.
