The TPS73xx devices are members of a family of micropower low-dropout (LDO) voltage regulators. They are differentiated from the TPS71xx and TPS72xx LDOs by their integrated delayed microprocessor-reset function. If the precision delayed reset is not required, the TPS71xx and TPS72xx should be considered.
The TPS73xx family (TPS7301Q, TPS7325Q, TPS7330Q, TPS7333Q, TPS7348Q, TPS7350Q) are micropower low-dropout (LDO) voltage regulators that include an integrated delayed reset function. They are offered in fixed‑voltage versions (2.5 V, 3 V, 3.3 V, 4.85 V, 5 V) and an adjustable version programmable from 1.2 V to 9.75 V.
Key features include a very low dropout voltage (as low as 35 mV at 100 mA for the TPS7350), low quiescent current (340 µA typical), a sleep‑mode current of 0.5 µA max, and a reset output that stays low during undervoltage and releases after a typical 200 ms timeout. The datasheet provides electrical characteristics, recommended operating conditions, maximum ratings, dissipation tables, and mechanical dimensions.
| Output current range | 0 mA to 500 mA |
|---|---|
| Input voltage range (typical) | 2.47 V to 10 V (TPS7301Q) |
| Maximum continuous dissipation | 1400 mW |
The RESET output stays low for the duration of the undervoltage condition, then a typical 200 ms timeout begins before it goes high.
The regulators are available in 2.5 V, 3 V, 3.3 V, 4.85 V, and 5 V fixed‑voltage versions.
