The AM-1600 CL / AB-1600 CL is a 43.3 mm 4872 x 3248 resolution, 3.3fps CCD camera from JAI. The camera features 12-bit A/D (linear) or 8-bit/10-bit with look-up table (LUT) digital Camera Link output and analog output, as well as automatic dual-channel compensation, image center partial scan, user-programmable variable partial scan, 2X and 4X binning (V, H or both), synchronous and async trigger modes, and defective pixel compensation, background subtraction, pixel gain and offset control, monochrome and RGB color models (internal interpolation) and more.
The AM-1600 CL (monochrome) and AB-1600 CL (color) are 43.3 mm progressive‑scan IT CCD cameras using a Kodak KAI‑16000 sensor. They deliver up to 4872 × 3248 pixels at 3.3 fps full‑frame, with partial‑scan modes of 6.3 fps (1624 × 3248) and 125 fps (812 × 3248). The cameras support 42‑bit linear A/D conversion or 8‑/10‑bit conversion with a programmable LUT, and provide both Digital Camera Link and analog video outputs.
Power is supplied at 12 V DC ±10% (typical 800 mA at 25 °C). The unit operates from –10 °C to 50 °C, tolerates 7 g rms vibration (10 Hz‑2000 Hz) and 70 g shock (11 ms half‑sine). Physical dimensions are 55 mm × 55 mm × 120 mm. An on‑screen GUI allows control of shutter, gain, offset, LUT, scanning mode and other parameters, with settings stored in EEPROM for rapid changes. Optional accessories include power supplies, cables, optical filters and F‑mount adapters.
