This document introduces the C3 Basic series products from JAI, including features such as resolution, pixel size, frame rate, trigger modes, exposure time, and pre-processing functions.
The BM-500 CL (monochrome) and BB-500 CL (color) are 2/3" progressive‑scan CCD cameras offering a native resolution of 2456 × 2058 pixels with 3.45 µm square pixels. They support full‑resolution operation at up to 15 fps and higher rates with vertical binning or partial‑scan modes.
The cameras use a Camera Link interface with selectable 8‑, 10‑ or 12‑bit output, and offer Pre‑Select and Pulse‑Width trigger modes. Power is supplied at 12 V DC (±10%) with a consumption of 5.5 W. Mechanical dimensions are 55 × 55 × 55 mm, weight about 200 g, and they operate from –5 °C to +45 °C.
