About this manual

The DAC7614 is a quad, serial‑input, 12‑bit voltage‑output DAC offering low‑power (20 mW) operation and selectable unipolar or bipolar output. It can be powered from a single +5 V supply or from dual ±5 V supplies, and features an asynchronous reset that sets all registers to either mid‑scale or zero‑scale.

Typical applications include ATE test equipment, process control, closed‑loop servo‑control, motor control, and data‑acquisition systems. The device is available in 16‑pin DIP, 16‑lead SOIC, and 20‑lead SSOP packages, and is specified for operation from –40 °C to +85 °C.
