TEXAS INSTRUMENTS TPS61050/TPS61052 Manual

The TPS61050 is a high-frequency synchronous boost converter with constant current control for driving single white LEDs. It can provide up to 1.2A of current. The device uses a small inductor and external components to minimize input ripple. The device also has a 250 mV LED feedback voltage to optimize efficiency. The TPS61050 can operate as either a constant current source or a standard voltage-boost regulator. This allows it to be used to power other high-power devices in the system, such as flashlights or flash cameras.
