5413 Polyimide Film Tape is a tape consisting of a Kapton® polyimide film and silicone adhesive designed for high temperature applications.
The 3M 5413 Polyimide Film Tape consists of a Kapton® polyimide film with a silicone adhesive, supplied on a standard 36‑yard roll. It is designed for high‑temperature applications and offers flame‑retardant, chemical‑resistant, and release‑surface properties.
The handbook lists technical specifications such as temperature range, adhesion, tensile strength, and thickness, and includes application ideas like masking PCB gold fingers and providing a release surface for high‑temperature part fabrication. Warranty, liability, and contact information are also provided.
