It can often be applied without surface abrasion, provided the surfaces are clean, dry, and properly prepared.
Key performance figures include a 1.1 mm thickness, 590 kg/m³ foam density, 35 N/10 mm peel adhesion to stainless steel, and static shear strengths up to 1500 g at 22 °C. The tape offers high solvent resistance, excellent UV resistance, and retains strength up to 150 °C for short periods. Shelf life is 24 months when stored at 20 °C and 50 % relative humidity.

Low surface‑energy plastics such as polyethylene, polypropylene, Teflon, silicones, and some plasticised vinyl are not recommended without sealing or priming.
