About this manual

The BTS 5234L is a dual‑channel high‑side power switch in a P‑DSO‑12‑2 package that integrates a range of protective functions such as reverse‑battery, overload, short‑circuit, and over‑voltage protection. It uses a vertical N‑channel MOSFET with a charge pump and offers CMOS‑compatible logic inputs.

Key features include very low standby current, independent logic ground, enhanced IntelliSense diagnostic pins (IS1, IS2) with a sense‑enable pin (SEN), and a built‑in ground resistor to minimise external components. The device is suited for automotive applications, replacing electromechanical relays, fuses and discrete driver circuits.
