This document describes the features and characteristics of the BTS 5240 L smart high-side power switch, including operating voltage, number of channels, on-state resistance, and nominal load current.
This addendum to the BTS 5240L datasheet documents minor changes to the device specifications, most notably the adjustment of the current‑limit threshold voltage from 2.6 V to 2.0 V. The document also lists the updated electrical characteristics, protection functions and package information for the smart high‑side power switch.
The BTS 5240L is a dual‑channel N‑MOSFET power switch with integrated protection features such as reverse‑battery, short‑circuit, overload, thermal shutdown and over‑voltage protection. The addendum provides the revised parameter tables, pin definitions, maximum ratings and ordering codes.
