The MAX3280E, MAX3281E, MAX3283E and MAX3284E are single‑channel RS‑485/RS‑422 receivers offered in SOT‑23 packages. They feature true fail‑safe operation, guaranteeing a logic‑high output when inputs are open or shorted, and support data rates up to 52 Mbps with a 3 V to 5.5 V supply.
The devices include ESD protection up to +15 kV (Human Body Model), thermal shutdown, and a low‑voltage logic pin (VL) on the MAX3284E for compatibility with digital FPGAs.
