About this manual

The MAX328 and MAX329 are ultra‑low leakage monolithic CMOS analog multiplexers offered by Maxim. The MAX328 is a single‑ended 1‑of‑8 device, while the MAX329 provides a differential 2‑of‑8 configuration. Both parts are designed for low‑leakage signal routing in applications such as data acquisition, aircraft HUDs, and control systems.

Key features include 1 pA typical off‑state leakage, switching speeds under 1.5 µs, TTL/CMOS logic compatibility, and a wide supply range that supports single‑supply (1 V‑3 V) or dual‑supply operation. The devices are pin‑compatible with legacy DG508/DG509 parts and are available in several 16‑lead packages.
