TLP161J is a photocoupler from Toshiba Semiconductor. It is a small outline coupler suitable for surface mount assembly. The device consists of a photo triac optically coupled to a gallium arsenide infrared emitting diode. It features zero-voltage crossing turn-on, a peak off-state voltage of 600V, a trigger LED current of 10mA, an on-state current of 70mA, and an isolation voltage of 2500Vrms.
