This document introduces the ADV7194 product from Analog Devices, which is a professional 10-bit video encoder with 54MHz oversampling. The product supports I2C interface and has built-in video signal processing functions, including color control, noise reduction, gamma correction, etc. It is suitable for TV screens and progressive scan displays.
The ADV7194 video encoder from Analog Devices provides 10‑bit extended CCIR‑656 input, six high‑quality video DACs, and 4× oversampling with an internal 54 MHz PLL. It supports NTSC‑M, NTSC‑N (Japan), PAL‑N, PAL‑B/D/G/H/I and PAL‑60 standards, and can output composite, S‑Video, component YUV or RGB signals.
The device includes programmable video controls such as digital noise reduction, gamma correction, black burst, LUMA/CHROMA delay, and various filters. Detailed specifications cover static performance, dynamic performance, timing characteristics, and power requirements for both 5 V and 3.3 V operation.
