About this manual

The AD8326 is a high‑output‑power, digitally controlled variable‑gain amplifier optimized for coaxial line‑driving applications such as DOCSIS upstream cable modems. It offers a programmable gain range of 52.5 – 54.5 dB in 0.75 dB steps, low distortion, and a sleep mode that reduces quiescent current to a few milliamps.

The device is available in 28‑lead TSSOP and 28‑lead power‑SOIC packages, operates from a single or dual supply (11.4 – 12.6 V), and supports an operating temperature range of –40 °C to +85 °C. Detailed specifications, pin configurations, and performance graphs are provided in the document.
