About this manual

The kit is designed to determine rat kisspeptin concentrations in serum, cell culture supernatant and other liquid samples using a double‑antibody sandwich ELISA. Purified rat kisspeptin antibodies coat the microplate, and after adding sample, HRP‑labeled antibody forms an antibody‑antigen‑enzyme complex that is developed with TMB substrate.

Sample handling includes specific procedures for serum, plasma, urine, cell culture supernatant and tissue homogenates, followed by a step‑by‑step assay protocol: standard preparation, sample dilution, incubation, washing, addition of enzyme conjugate, color development, termination and absorbance reading at 450 nm. The manual also provides calculation methods, performance specifications, storage conditions and safety precautions. This manual is written in Chinese.

Frequently asked questions

What is the detection range of the kit?

The kit can detect kisspeptin concentrations from 0.5 ng/ml up to 22 ng/ml.

Which sample types can be measured with this kit?

Serum, plasma, urine, cell culture supernatant, tissue homogenates and other liquid samples are supported.

What samples should be avoided?

Samples containing sodium azide (NaN₃) must not be used because it inhibits HRP activity.
