The DIR-457U is a portable 3.75 G HSUPA router with a built‑in battery that can run up to about four hours. It supports both router and modem modes and can share a Wi‑Fi network with multiple devices.
The guide walks you through inserting the SIM card, connecting the USB charger (5 V 1 A), configuring the SSID and password via the web interface at http://192.168.0.1, interpreting LED status colors, and resetting the device to factory defaults. This manual is written in Chinese.

Open a web browser and navigate to http://192.168.0.1.
Press and hold the reset button for about 2 seconds until the LED indicator changes.
Remove the cover, insert the SIM card into the slot, and replace the cover.
