Frequently asked questions

How do I set the water temperature?

Press the SET TEMP button one or more times; the selected temperature light will flash and then stay on when the set temperature is reached.

How can I clean the anti‑scale filter?

Remove the filter from the kettle, slide the basket off, clean the stainless‑steel mesh under running water, brush the filter, then reassemble.

What should I do if I overfill the kettle?

Never fill beyond the maximum level indication; over‑filling can cause water to be ejected from the spout and cause scalding.

How does the boil‑dry protection work?

If the kettle is switched on with no water, it automatically turns off; after 10 minutes you can lift the kettle to reset the protection.
