The 74VHC393 is a dual 4-bit binary counter with features such as high speed, low power dissipation, and high noise immunity. It is fabricated with silicon gate CMOS technology and can achieve 8-bit binary counting or frequency division. The device changes state on the negative going transition of the CLOCK pulse and can be reset to '0' by a HIGH at the CLEAR input.
