The LM2727/LM2737 N-Channel FET Synchronous Buck Regulator Controller for Low Output Voltages is a high-performance, synchronous switching regulator controller released by Texas Instruments. It adopts a fixed-frequency, voltage-mode, PWM control architecture and can adjust the switching frequency from 50kHz to 2MHz by adjusting an external resistor. The device uses non-overlapping MOSFET gate drivers and a high-side bootstrap structure to further improve efficiency. The input power is 2.2V to 16V and the output voltage can be adjusted to 0.6V.

MAX4359/MAX4360/MAX4456 low-cost video cross-point switches are designed to reduce component count, board space, design time, and system cost. Each con- tains a matrix of T-switches that connect any of their four (MAX4359) or eight (MAX4360/MAX4456) video inputs to any of their buffered outputs, in any combination. Each matrix output is buffered by an internal, high-speed (250V/µs), unity-gain amplifier that is capable of driving 400Ω and 20pF at 2.6Vp-p. For applications requiring increased drive capability, buffer the MAX4359/ MAX4360/MAX4456 outputs with the MAX497 quad, gain-of-two video line driver. The MAX4456 has a digitally controlled 8x8 switch matrix and is a low-cost pin-for-pin compatible alternative to the popular MAX456. The MAX4359/MAX4360 are similar to the MAX4456, with the 8x8 switch matrix replaced by a 4x4 (MAX4359) or an 8x4 (MAX4360) switch matrix. Three-state output capability and internal, programmable active loads make it feasible to parallel multiple devices to form larger switch arrays. The inputs and outputs are on opposite sides, and a quiet power supply or digital input line separates each channel, which reduces crosstalk to -70dB at 5MHz. For applications demanding better DC specifications, see the MAX456 8x8 video crosspoint switch.

MAX4249-MAX4257 are low-noise, low-distortion op-amps that offer Rail-to-Rail® outputs and single-supply operation down to 2.4V. They draw 400µA of quiescent supply current per amplifier while featuring ultra-low distortion (0.0002% THD), as well as low input voltage-noise density (7.9nV/√Hz) and low input current-noise density (0.5fA/√Hz). These features make the devices an ideal choice for portable/battery-powered applications that require low distortion and/or low noise. For additional power conservation, the MAX4249/MAX4251/MAX4253/MAX4256 offer a low-power shut-down mode that reduces supply current to 0.5µA and puts the amplifiers’ outputs into a high-impedance state. The MAX4249-MAX4257’s outputs swing rail-to-rail and their input common-mode voltage range includes ground. The MAX4250–MAX4254 are unity- gain stable with a gain-bandwidth product of 3MHz. The MAX4249/MAX4255/MAX4256/MAX4257 are inter- nally compensated for gains of 10V/V or greater with a gain-bandwidth product of 22MHz. The single MAX4250/MAX4255 are available in space-saving 5-pin SOT23 packages. The MAX4252 is available in an 8-bump chip-scale package (UCSP™) and the MAX4253 is available in a 10-bump UCSP.

The MAX3748/MAX3748A multirate limiting amplifier functions as a data quantizer for SONET, Fibre Channel, and Gigabit Ethernet optical receivers. The amplifier accepts a wide range of input voltages and provides constant-level current-mode logic (CML) output voltages with controlled edge speeds. A received-signal-strength indicator (RSSI) is available when the MAX3748/MAX3748A is combined with the MAX3744 SFP transimpedance amplifier (TIA).

MAX3080–MAX3089 is a series of high-speed transceivers for RS-485/RS-422 communication, featuring fail-safe circuitry that guarantees a logic-high receiver output when the receiver inputs are open or shorted.

The MAX2360 is a dual-band, triple-mode cellular phone transmitter that is the most integrated and architecturally advanced solution to date.

The MAX1921 evaluation kit provides a fixed 1.8V output voltage from a 2V to 5.5V input source and delivers up to 400mA output current. It is a step-down switching regulator with an internal power switch and synchronous rectifier in a tiny SOT23 package. The MAX1921 EV kit is a fully assembled and tested surface-mount circuit board. It can also be used to evaluate other fixed-output voltage versions of the MAX1921 or the MAX1920, which is a step-down switching regulator with an adjustable output voltage.

The MAX1707 is a high efficiency, low EMI and low input ripple LED controller that supports a maximum regulated constant current of 610mA for main display backlight, subdisplay backlight (or RGB indicator) and white LED camera flash.
