About this manual

The MAX120 and MAX122 are complete, CMOS sampling 12-bit analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) that combine an on-chip track/hold circuit with a low-drift voltage reference. These devices offer fast conversion speeds and low power consumption, with throughput rates as high as 500ksps for the MAX120 and 333ksps for the MAX122. They accept analog input voltages from -5V to +5V and operate with clock frequencies ranging from 0.1MHz to 8MHz for the MAX120 and up to 5MHz for the MAX122.
