Industrial

Electric motors account for about 70% of the electricity consumed by industry. The potential cost saving of high efficiency systems is estimated 20% to 30% and one of the major factors in such cost-effective improvement is the use of energy efficient motors. The IEC 60034-30 is part of an effort to unify motor testing standards, efficiency requirements and product labelling requirements to easily recognize worldwide high- efficiency products.

This document describes the MiniTherm resistance thermometer, Type Series GA270, which is designed for temperature measurement in the food/pharmaceutical/biotechnology industries. It features a compact design, high measurement accuracy, and fast response. The thermometer uses a Pt100 sensor and offers both 3-wire and 2-wire output signals (Pt100 and 4-20 mA, respectively). It has a hygienic design and can be connected via a circular connector or field housing.

This product is a NAMUR solenoid valve with combined 5/2 and 3/2 way function with NAMUR interface. It is made of an aluminum housing and a stainless steel piston and has NBR seals. The product can be used for controlling spring return and double acting pneumatic actuators.

Flow reducers for solenoid valve outlet ports and pneumatic part turn actuators protect the product against dust and dirt, they reduce the noise of the de-aerating process and they can slow the rotary motion of the valve.

FA 400 is a absolute humidity sensor for dryers produced by Festo, Germany. It has four measurement ranges: -80.20°Ctd, -60.30°Ctd, -20.50°Ctd and 0.100%rF, with accuracies of ± 1°C, ± 2°C, ± 3°C respectively. The pressure range is -1.50 bar, and a special version can reach 350 bar. It can be connected to power and alarm lines via 2 x M12, 5-polig ports, and supports SDI interface. It provides 4.20 mA analog output with a maximum load of 500 Ohm. The alarm relay can output a maximum of 60 VDC, 0.5 A. It is suitable for cold dryers, membrane dryers and adsorption dryers.

The cyberSCAN VANTAGE 50 is a compact, non-contact profiling system for fast scanning of any part or surface. The system combines a laser sensor, a base unit with an integrated translation stage and a PC or a laptop for data analysis. The sensor scans over the object and produces a high-resolution height profile. The confocal laser sensor can also produce a scan line with the width of 1.1 mm and a lateral resolution of 2 µm. In combination with the translation stage a highly accurate 3D raster can be recorded.
