This is an application note about STEVAL-IME003V1, introducing the features and usage of the board

This application note explains how to develop an application using either Visual Basic or C/C++ language to drive the DEMO-CR95HF-A demonstration board from a host computer. The DEMO-CR95HF-A is a demonstration kit which allows to evaluate the performance of STMicroelectronics CR95HF 13.56 MHz multiprotocol contactless transceiver. It includes a ready-to-use board to interface with the CR95HF host PC demonstration software through a USB interface. The DEMO-CR95HF-A board is powered through the USB port and no external power supply is required. It is made up of a CR95HF contactless transceiver, a 48 x 34 mm 13.56 MHz inductive etched antenna and its associated tuning components. The CR95HF communicates with the STM32F103CB 32-bit core MCU via the SPI bus. A dynamic link library (DLL) file is used by the host computer to manage several functions and communicate with the STM32 MCU and the CR95HF IC. It is included in the demo-cr95hf-a_dev_appli.zip version 2 (Visual Basic 6 and C/C++ source code examples) which can be downloaded from http://www.st.com. An executable with a simple user interface is also available for both Visual Basic and C/C++ projects.

This document is an overview of STM32 proprietary code protection. It provides an explanation of the protection mechanism and its features, as well as how to protect the intellectual property code from being read out, debugged, or attacked by RAM Trojan code.

This document introduces an application of a high power factor flyback LED driver based on the L6562A and TSM101 controllers. The driver uses isolated feedback with an optocoupler and a secondary side reference/error amplifier, the TSM101, for voltage and current regulation. The L6562A is a PFC controller operating in transition-mode, with a highly linear multiplier that reduces AC input current distortion and allows wide-range mains operation with extremely low THD. The TSM101 compares the DC voltage and current level of a switching power supply to an internal reference, providing feedback to the L6562A controller. This system, designed using the L6562A and TSM101 controllers, offers advantages in terms of output current and voltage stability.

This application note provides an overview of the demonstration firmware delivered with the STM32L-DISCOVERY evaluation board. It allows you to explore the rich set of power saving modes available in the STM32L microcontroller by using the STM32L-DISCOVERY embedded IDD measurement circuit that is used to demonstrate the real capabilities of the ultra low power microcontroller STM32L. The demonstration application does not require any additional hardware. Once the STM32L-DISCOVERY is powered-up through a USB cable connected to the host PC, the application is ready to display the STM32L power consumption of each low-power modes selected by the user. In addition the demonstration firmware allow you to explore touch sensing capabilities of STM32L microcontroller demonstrated by sensing of linear touch sensor or set of four touchkeys.

This application note is intended to provide guidelines for designing a CR95HF antenna which impedance matches to the CR95HF impedance. This allows to achieve the best RF communications between the CR95HF transceiver integrated circuit (IC) and ISO15693 or ISO14443 RF memory tags.

This application note describes the features of the real-time clock (RTC) controller embedded in Ultra Low Power Medium-density, Ultra Low Power High-density, F0, F2 and F4 series devices microcontrollers, and the steps required to configure the RTC for use with the calendar, alarm, periodic wakeup unit, tamper detection, timestamp and calibration applications. Examples are provided with configuration information to enable you to quickly and correctly configure the RTC for calendar, alarm, periodic wakeup unit, tamper detection, time stamp and calibration applications.

This application note is written to help you analyze the steps you need to migrate from an existing STM32-based design to any one of the other microcontroller types in the fast-growing STM32 series

3.2 W LED power supply based on HVLED805 Introduction

This application user manual provides a short description of how to use the Timer 2 peripheral (TIM2) on the STM8S-DISCOVERY development board to generate three PWM signals. Even though the STM8S-DISCOVERY is built around an STM8S105C6T6, it allows evaluation of the main features of all the STM8S MCUs.

AN3319 is a ST application note about solar battery charger using SPV1040.

This application note describes the demonstration firmware running on the STM3210C-EVAL for the STM32F107VC to manage a smartplug network system. An embedded graphical user interface (GUI) based on the “multi-input embedded GUI library 2.0 for STM32F10xxx” described in the AN3128 application note, and working on an LCD TFT 320 x 240 display and 5-position joystick, allows the user to interact with the smartplug system made up of one coordinator and two smartplugs connected.

This document provides guidelines for updating firmware in STM32L1xx microcontrollers through in-application programming using the USART.

This application note describes how to calibrate the HSI and MSI internal RC oscillators of STM32L1xx MCUs

This application note provides a short description of how to use the ADC, Timer and GPIO peripherals to display a variable voltage on a bar of LEDs.
