STOD03B is a dual DC-DC converter for AMOLED display panels. It integrates a step-up and an inverting DC-DC converter making it particularly suitable for battery operated products, in which the major concern is the overall system efficiency. It works in pulse skipping mode during low load conditions and PWM-MODE at 1.5 MHz frequency for medium/high load conditions. The high frequency allows the value and size of external components to be reduced.

The STOD1317B is a fixed frequency, high efficiency, boost DC-DC converter with cascaded LDO able to provide output voltages ranging from 6 V to 13 V starting with an input voltage from 2.6 V to 4.8 V. The device is designed to supply loads that are very sensitive to output ripple such as AMOLED display panels. A dedicated LDO is able to suppress any ripple and noise coming out from the DC-DC converter. The LDO works with a constant drop in order to maintain high efficiency in the whole operating range. The low RDSon N- channel and P-channel MOSFET switches are integrated and contribute to achieving high efficiency. The true-shutdown feature allows physical disconnection of the battery from the load when the device is in shutdown mode. The L7986 is a 3A step-down switching regulator from ST. It features an output current of up to 3A, an input voltage range of 4.5V to 38V, and an output voltage that can be set from 0.6V to VIN. The device includes an internal 250kHz switching frequency oscillator that can be externally adjusted up to 1MHz. The QFN and HSOP packages with exposed pad allow reducing the RthJA down to 60°C/W and 40°C/W respectively.

The L7985/A is ST's 2A step-down switching regulator with 2.5A (minimum) current limited embedded power MOSFET, so it is able to deliver up to 2A current to the load depending on the application conditions.
