This is preliminary information on a new product now in development or undergoing evaluation. It is an advanced constant voltage and constant current controller with a very efficient LED pilot-lamp driver. It has a wide operating voltage range, low quiescent consumption, and accurate voltage and current control loops. It is suitable for applications such as AC-DC adapters, battery chargers, and SMPS with LED pilot-lamps.

The ST2S08B is a 1.5A step-down DC-DC converter optimized for powering low-voltage digital cores in ODD applications.

ALTAIR04-900 is a high-voltage all-primary-sensing switching regulator intended for operating directly from the rectified mains with minimum external parts.

STM1831 is a voltage detector with sense input and external delay capacitor. Its features include: separate sense input, factory-trimmed voltage thresholds in 100 mV increments, ±2% voltage threshold accuracy, operating voltage range of 1.6V to 6.0V, open drain output, low supply current of 0.8µA, time delay programmable by external capacitor, power supply transient immunity, available in SOT23-5 package.

The L6738A is a single-phase step-down controller with integrated high-current drivers that provides complete control logic and protection to realize a DC-DC converter.

The LD39030SJxx is a low noise voltage regulator that provides 300mA maximum current from an input voltage in the 1.5V to 5.5V range, with a typical dropout voltage of 200mV. It is stabilized with a ceramic capacitor on the output. The ultra low drop voltage, low quiescent current, and low noise features make it suitable for low power battery-powered applications.

The SPV1040 is a high-efficiency solar battery charger with embedded MPPT. It is suitable for applications such as smart phones, GPS systems, wireless headsets, small appliances, sensors, portable media players, digital still cameras, toys, and portable healthcare devices. The product features a 0.3V to 5.5V operating input voltage range, 140mΩ internal synchronous rectifier, 120mΩ internal power active switch, 100kHz fixed PWM frequency, duty cycle controlled by MPPT algorithm, output voltage regulation, overcurrent and overtemperature protection, input source reverse polarity protection, built-in soft-start, and up to 95% efficiency.

HVLED805 is an 800V avalanche rugged internal power MOSFET LED driver from ST with 5% accuracy on constant LED output current, no optocoupler required, quasi-resonant (QR) zero voltage switching (ZVS) operation, internal HV start-up circuit, open or short LED string management, automatic self supply, input voltage feed-forward for mains independent cc regulation.

The SPV1001 is a system-in-package solution for photovoltaic applications to perform cool bypass rectification similar to that of a conventional Schottky diode but with much lower forward voltage drop and reverse leakage current. The device consists of a power MOSFET transistor which charges a capacitor during the OFF time, and drives its gate during the ON time using the charge previously stored in the capacitor. The ON and OFF times are set to reduce the average voltage drop across the drain and source terminals, resulting in reduced power dissipation.

The ST1S14 is a step down switching regulator from STMicroelectronics. It can deliver up to 3A DC current to the load, and has an operating input voltage range of 5.5V to 48V. It has a switching frequency of 850kHz, and features soft-start, undervoltage lockout, overcurrent protection, and thermal shutdown.

The ALTAIR05T-800 is a high-voltage all-primary sensing switcher intended for operating directly from the rectified mains with minimum external parts. It combines a high-performance low-voltage PWM controller chip and an 800 V avalanche-rugged power section in the same package.

ST1S40 is a 18V-4.0V 3A PWM synchronous step-down regulator from ST company, it has a built-in 95mΩ high-side switch and 69mΩ synchronous rectifier, supports internal compensation, high integration and compact package VFQFPN4x4-8L, HSOP-8 and SO-8.
