The UCC39411 family is a low input voltage, single inductor boost converter optimized to operate from a single or dual alkaline cell and provide a 3.3V, 5V, or adjustable output at 200mW. The family also includes an auxiliary 7V output primarily for the gate drive supply, which can be used for applications requiring an auxiliary output such as 5V, through linear regulation. The primary output can start up under full load at input voltages typically as low as 0.8V with a guaranteed maximum of 1V and can operate down to 0.5V once the converter is operating, maximizing battery utilization. The UCC39411 family is designed for demanding applications such as pagers and cell phones that require high efficiency over a wide operating range of several milliwatts to a couple of hundred milliwatts. High efficiency at low output current is achieved by optimizing switching and conduction losses with a low total quiescent current (50µA). At higher output currents, the 0.5Ω switch and 1.2Ω synchronous rectifier, along with continuous mode conduction, provide high power efficiency. The wide input voltage range of the UCC39411 family can accommodate other power sources such as NiCd and NiMH. The 39411 family also offers shutdown control. Available packages include the 8-pin SOIC (D), 8-pin DIP (N or J), and 8-pin TSSOP (PW) to optimize board space.

Datasheet
The UCC3580 family of PWM controllers is designed to implement a variety of active clamp/reset and synchronous rectifier switching converter topologies. While containing all the necessary functions for fixed frequency, high performance pulse width modulation, the additional feature of this design is the inclusion of an auxiliary switch driver which complements the main power switch, and with a programmable deadtime or delay between each transition. The active clamp/reset technique allows operation of single ended converters beyond 50% duty cycle while reducing voltage stresses on the switches, and allows a greater flux swing for the power transformer. This approach also allows a reduction in switching losses by recovering energy stored in parasitic elements such as leakage inductance and switch capacitance. The oscillator is programmed with two resistors and a capacitor to set switching frequency.

The UCC3807 family of high speed, low power integrated circuits contains all of the control and drive circuitry required for off-line and DC-to-DC fixed frequency current mode switching power supplies with minimal external parts count. These devices are similar to the UCC3800 family, but with the added fea- ture of a user programmable maximum duty cycle. Oscillator frequency and maximum duty cycle are programmed with two resistors and a capacitor. The UCC3807 family also features internal full cycle soft start and internal leading edge blanking of the current sense input. The UCC3807 family offers a variety of package options, temperature range options, and choice of critical voltage levels. The family has UVLO thresholds and hysteresis levels for off-line and battery powered systems. Thresholds are shown in the table below.
