The Skyworks AAT3683 is a 1 A linear Li‑Ion battery charger with USB or AC input, programmable current and built‑in protection.
The AAT3683 is a highly integrated single‑cell lithium‑ion/polymer charger that can be powered from a USB port or an AC adapter up to 7.5 V. It precisely regulates charge voltage and current for 4.2 V cells, with charge current programmable from 100 mA to 1 A using an external resistor or ISET pin.
The device includes digital thermal loop control, status monitor output, and protection against over‑voltage, over‑current, short‑circuit and over‑temperature conditions. It is offered in 2.2 × 2.2 mm STDFN‑10 and QFN33‑16 packages and operates from –40 °C to +85 °C.
