This document provides user manual of Switch-Tek™ Horizontal, Vertical & Float-Point Float Switches AV16, AV26, AV36, AV46, AV56, LH25, LH29, LH35, LV20, LV21, LV35 & LV36 Series Manual, including installation methods, environmental requirements, dimensions, electrical interfaces, maintenance, etc.
The document provides a comprehensive guide for the installation and operation of various Float Switch models from the AV16 through LV36 series. It details how to mount the switches rigidly in tanks free of severe turbulence and explains that vertical stems should ideally be vertical, though up to a 30° angle is acceptable.
The manual includes specific instructions for different switch types, including horizontal and vertical mounts, and notes which models are reversible versus fixed (Normally Open or Normally Closed). It also lists material compatibility, such as 316 stainless steel, Polypropylene, PTFE, and PVDF options, along with electrical ratings for AC and DC loads.
