This document introduces the features of Flowline's Switch-Tek™ series horizontal, vertical and float-point float switches, including installation methods, environmental adaptability, dimensions, material compatibility, electrical interface, typical current and voltage ratings, maintenance precautions, testing installations, cleaning procedures, etc.
This manual covers the Switch-Tek series of float switches, including models AV16 through AV56 and LH/LV series. It details installation requirements, such as mounting switches rigidly and ensuring stems are vertical for best results. The document also explains how to configure switches for normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC) operations based on float orientation.
| Mounting Angle Limit | 30° angle from vertical |

Remove the float and reverse it on the stem, except for specific LV20 and LV21 models.
Satisfactory operation is possible in most liquids with the stem at up to a 30° angle from vertical.
Do not use harsh abrasives such as steel wool or sandpaper, which might damage the surface of the sensor.
Flowline must be notified within thirty (30) days of any claimed lack of conformity of the product.
