Thermo-Flo™ Series flow switch is a general purpose flow switch package provides reliable no or low-flow detection of relatively clean non-coating media with a 16A SPDT compact flow controller for pump or process protection. Liquid examples include water and sulfuric acid. Optional flash alarm brings attention to low-flow alarm conditions. Short flow sensor is used in pipe from ½” to 1-1/2”, and long configuration is used in 2” and up. Flow switch set point may be adjusted from 0.04 fps to 3 fps in liquids, or 1 to 90 fps in gases for low-flow control. Flow sensor is best applied in applications with relatively constant temperature.
This manual covers the Flowline Thermo-Flo series flow switches, specifically models AT12, AT14, AG12, and AG14. These devices are designed for reliable no-flow or low-flow detection in relatively clean, non-coating media such as water and sulfuric acid. The switches feature a compact 16A SPDT relay controller and are available with Polypropylene-Ryton or PVDF sensors for short or long pipe configurations.
