Extech MO220 is a conductivity moisture meter designed for the wood industry. It can measure moisture through electrode pins or a heavy-duty moisture probe. The meter has eight calibration groups for accurate measurement of up to 170 types of wood. When using a temperature probe, it automatically corrects the moisture measurement. The meter has an automatic shutdown system with adjustable idle time. It also has a manual accuracy check function.
The Extech MO220 is a conductivity-based wood moisture meter designed for the wood industry. It features eight calibration groups to accurately measure up to 170 wood species and supports both electrode pins and heavy-duty moisture probes. The device includes an automatic temperature correction (ATC) function when used with a remote temperature probe to adjust readings based on the wood's temperature. This manual is written in Chinese.
| Measurement Principle | Conductivity / Resistance |

| Measurable Wood Species | Up to 170 types |
| Display | Dual measurement level LCD with bar graph |
| Measurement Range | 6 to 44% for wood |
| Electrode Length | 8mm (0.3") |
| Power Supply | Two (2) 'AAA' 1.5V batteries |
| Operating Temperature | 0 to 40°C (32 to 104°F) |
| Operating Humidity | Max 85% relative humidity |
| Dimensions | 130 x 40 x 25 mm |
| Weight | 100g (3.5 oz) |
When using the remote temperature probe, the meter automatically adjusts the moisture reading based on the wood's temperature relative to the calibration temperature of 68°F (20°C).
Select group A, remove the temperature probe, and connect the two measurement pins to the 18% and 26% calibration nodes inside the protective cover.
If the wood temperature is higher than 68°F (20°C), subtract 0.5% moisture content for every 9°F (5°C) increase. If lower, add 0.5% for every 9°F (5°C) decrease.
The meter automatically shuts down after approximately 15 minutes of inactivity to save battery power.
