This application note describes the peripheral firmware examples provided for the STM32F0DISCOVERY Kit. These ready-to-run examples are provided to help the user get started quickly with STM32F0xx peripherals and STM32F0DISCOVERY board hardware. Preconfigured projects for EWARM, MDK-ARM, TrueSTUDIO and TASKING toolchains are provided for each example. These examples are included in the firmware applications package available for download on www.st.com/stm32f0discovery. Users are advised to first read the document Getting started with software and firmware environments for the STM32F0DISCOVERY Kit (UM1523) to familiarize themselves with the STM32F0DISCOVERY Kit.
The document details a collection of preconfigured software projects designed to help users quickly start working with STM32FOxx peripherals and the STM32FODISCOVERY board hardware. These examples are available within the firmware applications package downloadable from the ST website.
The note covers various aspects including clock configuration options (HSI, HSE, HSE bypass), GPIO toggling, external interrupts, system timers, power management modes (Standby and Stop), current consumption monitoring, flash programming, DMA operations, ADC/DAC usage, and timer configurations such as PWM input/output and complementary signals.
| Clock frequency (default) | 48 MHz |
|---|---|
| Microcontroller Series | STM32 FO series |
Preconfigured projects are provided for EWARM, MDK-ARM, TrueSTUDIO and TASKING toolchains.
The user must uncomment the adequate define in the 'system_stm32f0xx.c' file, though this requires hardware modification on the discovery kit.
