This document provides insight into interfacing the AD1847 SoundPort Codec to an ADSP-2181 using a single index register for transmitting and receiving data via SPORT autobuffering. It includes initialization and codec setup instructions, as well as an example talkthru program using the AD1847's 1 wire mode.
