Turn the battery compartment cover a quarter turn to the left, remove it, and install the new battery observing proper polarity.
Turn on the thermometer using the ON/OFF switch, select units with the °F/C button, and place the sensor disk flat against the surface.
The instrument is warranted for one year from date of shipment, with a six-month limited warranty applying to sensors and cables.
