This is the user's manual for the Extech MA410 Clamp Meter. It measures AC current, AC/DC voltage, resistance, capacitance, frequency, diode test, duty cycle and continuity. Special features include Thermocouple Temperature and Non-Contact Voltage detection. The double molded case is designed for heavy duty use. This meter is shipped fully tested and calibrated and, with proper use, will provide years of reliable service.
The Extech MA410 is a heavy-duty multimeter designed to measure AC current up to 400A, AC/DC voltage, resistance, capacitance, frequency, and temperature. It features special capabilities including non-contact voltage (NCV) detection and thermocouple temperature measurement.

Rotate the function switch to the 400A position, press the trigger to open the jaw, and fully enclose only one conductor.
Rotate the function switch to any measurement position and place the detector probe tip on the conductor to be tested.
The accuracy is ±(2.8% + 8 digits) for the 400A range.
