The series products are CMOS-based voltage regulator ICs with high output voltage accuracy and low supply current
The R1162x Series consists of CMOS-based voltage regulator ICs designed for high output voltage accuracy and low supply current. These devices include a chip enable function for ultra-low standby current and a current limit circuit to prevent destruction by overcurrent. The series offers three operating modes: standby mode controlled by the CE or standby control pin, and two modes selectable via the ECO pin: Fast Transient Mode (FT) and Low Power Mode (LP).
| Supply Current (Low Power Mode) | Typ. 5.5uA |
|---|---|
| Supply Current (Fast Transient Mode) | Typ. 70uA |
| Standby Current | Typ. 0.1pA |
| High Ripple Rejection (FT Mode) | Typ. 70dB |
| Input Voltage Range | 2.0V to 6.0V |
| Output Voltage Range | 1.5V to 4.0V |
| Output Voltage Accuracy | 2.0% |
| Dropout Voltage | Typ. 0.25V |
| Short Current Limit | Typ. 40mA |
| Operating Temperature Range | -40 ~ 85 °C |
The series has three modes: Standby mode (controlled by CE or standby pin), Fast Transient Mode (FT), and Low Power Mode (LP).
The ICs are available in SOT-23-5 and SON1612-6 packages.
The device performs well with ceramic capacitors, specifically recommending Cin=1.0uF and Cout=0.47uF.
