About this manual

The AJA D5D Serial Digital Decoder provides low-cost all-digital decoding of analog NTSC, PAL, or Y/C (S-Video) to 4:2:2 component serial digital. It automatically configures NTSC or PAL analog inputs to the corresponding line count 4:2:2 component serial digital outputs and uses a crystal PLL jitter filter to reduce jitter. The device provides three 4:2:2 component serial digital outputs and decodes the full dynamic range of input video without clipping.
