Philips 74F620/74F623 Octal Bus Transceiver Datasheet

This document describes the features and characteristics of two octal bus transceivers, 74F620 and 74F623. They both have high-impedance NPN base inputs for reduced loading, making them ideal for applications that require high output drive and minimal bus loading. Additionally, they have 3-State buffer outputs with a sinking capability of 64mA and a sourcing capability of 15mA.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the 74F620 and 74F623?

The 74F620 is an inverting octal bus transceiver, while the 74F623 is the non-inverting version.

Can the outputs be disabled?

Yes, the Enable inputs (OEBA and OEAB) can be used to disable the device so that the buses are effectively isolated.

What is the maximum supply voltage?

The absolute maximum supply voltage rating is +7.0V.
