TDA1547 is a dual top-performance bitstream DAC suitable for high-quality audio systems. It features low harmonic distortion, high signal-to-noise ratio, and wide dynamic range.
The TDA1547 is a dedicated one-bit digital-to-analogue converter intended to facilitate high fidelity sound reproduction in digital audio applications such as Compact Disc and DAT players. It utilizes the bitstream concept with a high over-sampling rate up to 192 kHz and pulse-density modulation, offering inherently monotonic conversion without zero-crossing distortion.
The device is processed in BIMOS technology, using bipolar transistors for both digital logic/drivers and analog operational amplifiers to optimize speed and performance. The layout features fully separated left and right channels as well as supply voltage lines between the digital and analog sections to achieve high crosstalk immunity.
