Markes International Series 2 Air Server 3 Specification Sheet

Air Server 3 is a portable gas sampler for UNITY 2. It can collect vapor phase organics from three gas channels (typically sample, standard and zero gas) and perform cryogen-free concentration with UNITY 2. The sampling process is fully automated via software.

About this manual

The Markes International Series 2 Air Server 3 (AS3) is an accessory designed to mount on the left-hand side of the UNITY 2 system. It extends the sample range to include cryogen-free concentration of vapor-phase organics from a sequence of three whole air or gas channels, typically used for sample, standard, and zero gas.

The module features electronic mass flow control for sample and split flows, inert 3-way switching valves with zero dead volumes, and compatibility with gas-phase samples ranging in pressure from just below atmospheric to 50 psi. It supports automatic sequencing of whole-air analyses and integrates with the UNITY 2 software for automated sampling and desorption cycles.
