About this manual

This document describes three optional software services available for Agilent Operating System for the Laboratory (OL) to manage and archive legacy data. These services allow laboratories to move data from older, costly-to-maintain systems into the Agilent OL Enterprise Content Management repository without needing the original native applications.

The three capabilities are the Technology Neutral Format (TNF) ECM Service, which generates XML equivalents based on the AnIML schema; TNF Content Generators, specific tools for legacy systems like HP LAS and PerkinElmer Turbochrom/TotalChrom; and the TNF data viewer, a web-based tool to display archived data.
