SFH 9202 Reflective Interrupter is a photoelectric switch launched by Osram. It has a working distance of 1 mm to 5 mm, IR-GaAs emitter in combination with a Silicon NPN phototransistor, daylight cut-off filter, low saturation voltage, electrically isolated emitter and detector, IR Reflow Soldering, and JEDEC Level 4 Preconditioning.
This document is a datasheet for the OSRAM SFH 9202, an infrared reflective interrupter (optical switch). It combines an IR-GaAs emitter with a silicon NPN phototransistor to detect objects within an optimal operating distance of 1mm to 5mm. Key features include a daylight cut-off filter, low saturation voltage, and electrical isolation between the emitter and detector.
| Optimal operating distance | 1 mm to 5mm |
|---|---|
| Emitter forward current | 50 mA |
| Detector collector current | 10 mA |
The optimal operating distance is between 1 mm and 5 mm.
The recommended soldering method is IR Reflow Soldering.
It is suitable for position reporting, end position switches, speed monitoring, and motion transmission.
