This document describes the ADM1024 System Hardware Monitor with Remote Diode Thermal Sensing. It has multiple measurement channels and can measure analog voltage, fan speed, or external temperature.
The ADM1024 is a complete system hardware monitor designed for microprocessor-based systems. It provides measurement and limit comparison of various system parameters, including up to nine measurement channels that can be programmed to measure analog voltage, fan speed, or external temperature.
Key features include two dedicated inputs for remote diode thermal sensing, an on-chip temperature sensor, five digital inputs for VID bits, and support for the System Management Bus (SMBus). The device also includes chassis intrusion detection, interrupt and over-temperature outputs, and a programmable RESET input pin.
