ADM1041 is a secondary-side controller with current share and housekeeping. It features digital calibration, SSI specification support, comprehensive fault detection, reduced component count on the secondary side, standalone or microcontroller control.
The ADM1041 is a secondary-side and management IC specifically designed to minimize external component counts and eliminate the need for manual calibration. It is intended for use in single output N+1 server power supplies to provide voltage control, current sharing, and housekeeping functions.
Manufactured with a 5 V CMOS process, the device combines digital and analog circuitry. It features an internal EEPROM for trimming timing and voltage, and programming is performed via an SMBus serial interface, allowing communication with microprocessors or microcontrollers.
The device provides voltage control, current share, and housekeeping functions for single output in N+1 server power supplies.
The system may turn on an additional cooling fan to help regulate the temperature within the power supply.
