This document serves as an update sheet for the installation and configuration of the Agilent G2360AA Atomic Emission Detector (AED) software, Version B.00.00. It is specifically designed to be used with the G2070AA ChemStation software, Version A.07.01.
The guide provides step-by-step instructions for two connection scenarios: connecting an Agilent 6890A or 6890A Plus via GPIB and connecting an Agilent 6890N or 6890A/Plus via LAN (IP). It details the software installation sequence, configuration editor settings, and specific manual edits required for the win.ini file when using a LAN connection.
G2360AA AED Version B.00.00 software is compatible ONLY with G2070AA ChemStation Version A.07.01 software.
Before installing the main software, you must install and configure Standard Interface Control Library (SICL) software appropriate for your GPIB board and Windows operating system.
When entering the IP address, do not include leading zeroes; for example, enter 10.1.1.102 instead of 010.001.001.102.
