M50FW040 4 Mbit (512Kb x8, Uniform Block) 3V Supply Firmware Hub Flash Memory is a product of Toshiba Corporation. Its features are power supply voltage VCC = 3V to 3.6V, support program, erase and read operations, support 12V fast erase, two interfaces, Firmware Hub (FWH) Interface and Address/Address Multiplexed (A/A Mux), support read and write operations, support hardware write protection and register-based read and write protection, and have 5 additional general inputs for more flexibility in platform design and synchronization with 33MHz PCI clock. The programming time is 10µs. It has 8 uniform 64 Kbyte memory blocks, supports embedded byte programming and block erase algorithms, and has status register bits.
